I believe I may have to say... no. Games are spam basically. Post count is for more non-spam content, when people say something more full of meaning then "lolamszmbbwtdfqq" or "the person above me is banned for *reason*" or "*next consecutive number*" ... Unless we develop games that involve lots of critical thinking, it will just be spam with less randomness.

Why would an idea like this even be proposed? Most of the Forum Games posts are essentially spam. The "P.S. SPAM" in Mellz's post isn't helping, either. If post count was turned on in Forum Games, people would spam the crap out of it. It's already full of spam as it is (mainly because of certain people), we don't need more being piled on to that.

Honestly, I don't get why you guys care so much about your post counts. In case you didn't realize it yet, your post count is just a meaningless number. It just shows the quantity of posts you have made, it does nothing to show the quality of them, which is the important part. There are a bunch of members with low post counts who I consider to be awesome members (like Solyeuse), and there are a bunch of other members with slightly higher post counts whose posts have pretty much no thinking behind them. I think you can guess who those members are.

Oh god no, that would turn into a nightmare for most of us. Why else do you think every other forum does not count it towards post count?

A post a day, keeps the inactivity away.

Granted, there ARE such games existing. Take Mafia for one - as if anyone hasn't heard of it. There's lots of strategy to the game - if a player isn't posting, is s/he Mafia trying to be inconspicuous, or just doesn't have anything to say?

Of course, Mafia is only really viable with 9 or more players. Once there was a 6 player game, but it didn't go so well.
