Well if you remove the rule than I'll have to submit and silently harbor ill feelings towards the signatures that once violated the rule.

Do you want people to have extremely large signatures that annoy everyone? I'm with Temeraki on this one.

To be honest people can still have huge signatures with or without the rule by merely posting a very large picture in their signature.

I think we should keep the limit and add a limit of H pixels by W pixels. For images, perhaps, 600 max. high and 600 max wide? ;)

The current limit is 600x400. I don't see why it should be changed.

In my opinion that's a pretty useful white background. Even on image editing programs that can't *tell* you the border, you can just use that blank white one as a base and shrink it to fit your needs.

sigh I thought you people meant actual amount of images. Size I do agree with however.

I don't think width matters unless you use a low resolution or if the picture makes the site side scrollable. Really the problem is the height.
