What are drop-down lists?

Drop-down lists are basically a menu that will drop down (hence the name) as soon as you click that little arrow thingy. It is useful for style switchers, Pokémon lists for Pokedex's, a quick links navigation, or whatever you want. Go to the Interviews for an example.

The Two Types of Drop-Down Lists

Well, there are two different types of drop-down lists: one with a "go" (as I like to call it) button and one without (which I call the automatic drop-down list). For the "go" button one, you have to select your link and press the button before a page opens. The one I used for the Interviews was the automatic drop-down list, which will automatically direct you to the link without pressing anything.

The "Go" Button Drop-Down List

This section will tell you how to use the "go" button drop-down list. Drop-down lists look complicated, but it takes no more than a bit of copy/pasting from this guide to figure it out. ;) Put in this code for a "go" button drop-down list:

Replace the # with the URL you want. Then, just press "Go" and it'll take you there.

The Automatic Drop-Down List

The automatic drop-down list is my preferred type. Pressing a go button all day gets annoying; the only bad thing about this list is that if your link is still highlighted and you slide the little scrolling wheel in the center of your mouse (and I've done that plenty of times), it will redirect you somewhere else. But you shouldn't worry about that. Put this code for the automatic drop-down list:

Like the other one, replace the #'s with the URL and it will direct you to the page immediately.
